§ 7. Dismissal if appeal.

(a)

The applicant may dismiss a pending appeal at any time prior to the rendering of the final decision by the city council by providing the city clerk with his written request to dismiss his appeal.

(b)

In the event that an applicant intentionally disregards or fails to comply with the procedures as herein provided for the appeal of cases from the planning commission and the board of adjustment, the city council may dismiss the applicant's appeal.
